Poster Session

This year’s poster session will be held entirely virtually via Gather Town. Note that while some poster presenters will physically present at the conference, their presentations will also be presented virtually. 

The poster session will be held on 14 June, 2022 from 4:30 - 6:00 PM (PT). To view the posters and interact with poster presenters, please follow the following link during the time of the poster session: https://app.gather.town/app/DiP3uDant1AExt54/poster-session

The password for the poster session will be sent to conference participants via email. A Gather Town account is not required to access the poster session. 

A brief tutorial is given when you enter Gather Town for the first time. After going through the tutorial, you can enter the virtual conference venue by clicking “Skip Tutorial”.

Once at the virtual conference venue, you can get to the poster session rooms (Poster 1 / Poster 2) by going “up” from the "entrance". 

Since the poster session will be held virtually, physical posters need not be printed. Instead, please prepare an electronic poster. Please bring a personal mobile device with internet access to the conference to present your poster. A laptop or tablet is recommended, though some smartphones may be adequate for presenting your poster. For your  poster, an aspect ratio of 16:9 or 4:3 is recommended, depending on your mobile device.

On the day of the poster session, a room will be provided for in-person poster presenters to present their posters, though presenters need not present from this room.

Please send a PDF version of your poster to alui@lanl.gov by 11 June, 2022 to ensure that your poster will be available on Gather Town. Your poster will then be uploaded to the Gather Town poster room. Updates to posters can be sent to alui@lanl.gov up until the morning of the poster session.

The Gather Town link can be accessed (using the password) throughout the duration of the conference. As a result, please feel free to remotely meet up on Gather Town to get acquainted with other conference participants throughout the conference!
