The Quality and Productivity Section of the American Statistical Association proudly offers two Mary G. and Joseph Natrella scholarships to attend the college or university of your choice. Each scholarship provides a $3500 grant, $500 travel stipend, and complimentary registration to the conference and to the pre-conference workshop. The awardees also present papers in the invited Natrella Session.
The application deadline is March 28, 2011. Scholarship recipients will be selected by April 11, 2011. Scholarships will be awarded at the Conference banquet on June 8, 2011. Application instructions and materials can be found at:

The 2011 QPRC offers an additional 10 Non-Local and 5 Local Scholarships to defray expenses for students. The definition of a local student is one whose host institution is within 50 miles of Roanoke, Virginia. Each non-local scholarship provides up to $250 to defray travel expenses plus a complimentary registration to the conference. The local scholarship provides a complimentary registration.
Students interested in these scholarships need to send an email to Geoff Vining (vining@vt.edu). This email should provide a brief curriculum vitae and short explanation on how the conference will benefit the student. The application deadline is April 15, 2011. Recipients will be informed by May 1, 2011.
