Procter & Gamble is the largest consumer products company in the world. The company invests 2 billion per year on innovation with an R&D community that contains 8000 employees of which 1000 hold PhDs. Innovation has always been a focus at P&G but recently has been given more emphasis. We will discuss how the statistician’s role has changed in order to enhance P&Gs success in product, process and commercial innovation.
