About every four years, the Joint Research Conference brings together two ASA research conferences: the Spring Research Conference (SRC) by SPES and the Quality and Productivity Research Conference (QPRC) by Q&P. This year the joint conference will be held at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

This year's conference theme is Statistics and Quality in a Data-Rich World. The goal of this conference is to stimulate interdisciplinary research among industrial statisticians, data scientists, engineers and analytic practitioners in quality, productivity, and businesses to tackle challenges various industries face today.
